Columbus, OH – March 4, 2025 – Kings Hammer FC Columbus is proud to announce the addition of two experienced coaches to its staff for the upcoming season. Chris Duff has been named Assistant Coach, while Chris Eaken will serve as the Goalkeeper Coach. Both bring a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the club, further strengthening Kings Hammer FC Columbus’ commitment to player development and excellence.
Chris Duff – Assistant Coach
A former standout player at Ohio Wesleyan University, Chris Duff earned First Team All-American honors twice and was inducted into the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997. His playing career spanned nearly a decade across multiple professional leagues, including the USISL, Major Indoor Soccer League, and A-League. He competed for clubs such as the Columbus Xoggz, Columbus Invaders, Minnesota Thunder, and Indiana Blast.
After transitioning from player to coach, Duff has dedicated over 20 years to developing young soccer talent. He has held leadership roles at Eagles Soccer Club, Ohio Premier Soccer Club—where he served as Boys Club Director for seven years—and Club Ohio Soccer Club. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the game make him a valuable addition to the Kings Hammer FC Columbus coaching staff.
Chris Eaken – Goalkeeper Coach
Chris Eaken joins Kings Hammer FC Columbus as the Goalkeeper Coach, bringing nearly a decade of specialized coaching experience to the club. Since 2017, he has served as the Goalkeeper Coach at New Albany High School, where he has played a pivotal role in developing top-tier goalkeepers. His expertise lies in refining technical skills, positioning, and game-readiness.
In 2024, Eaken joined Kings Hammer New Albany, where he has continued to elevate the performance of goalkeepers at the youth level. A former goalkeeper at Ohio Dominican University, Eaken holds a Goalkeeper Level 3 Diploma and a USSF National ‘D’ License. His passion for the position and ability to nurture talent make him a key asset to the coaching staff.
